Descriptions            : DK#969.WAD is really a conversion from the original
                          DOOM wad....  [See below for further details]
                            This first map (level) was drawn and reconstructed
                          to match the house I've lived most of my life...
                            BEWARE.....

Additional Credits to   : The staff of 3D Realms for making "DUKE NUKEM 3D"
                          and providing the utilities for us, folks, to edit
                          DUKE3D.

"What's this shit?  I'm at home trying to enjoy a wonderful weekend...  Then
all of sudden, my whole house was transported to a different place,.. a
different time,...  a different LIFE!!...  This is REALLY pissing me off...."

  Welcome, the object of this level is try to get out alive...  An ambush has
occurred...  You must decide rather you want to end this game by killing one
of the two BOSSES or finding an exit which would lead you to the next level..
It is totally up to you to decide...

"What IS this?  Am I teleporting somewhere...  SOMEWHERE?!  Or this is the
SAME PLACE?!"

  Ah yes, you must have found the basement.  The DARK basement..  The stair-
way has a teleportion between floors...  Use it wisely and carefully..  It is
tricky.  If you jump, you might miss the transport which could be disastrous.
You may go into a series of loops...  But there would always be a way out of
it..  Move FORWARD...

"I hope this house stays put..  Or I would be one DEAD MEAT..."

  The house would never fall apart..  It is always there for your own
PROTECTION...

"You know, a buddy could come in handy..."

  Although, the level was made for a single-player...  However, a buddy could
help in reaching that EXIT...

"I wonder what's that fire engine for..."

  Possibly, it's used for a player to reach that EXIT in time....

"What the devil?  The area has become darkened OUTSIDE?!"

  This happens when a player(s) or a monster(s) crosses over the dropped wall
many times...  I don't know why this happens...  Obviously, it's an error
that I cannot even solve...  Treat it as "black hole" field which is a side
weapon created by the aliens (monsters)...

Known Bugs              : I called it "THE BLACK HOLE" error...  (I don't
                          know what else to call it?!)...  This may be causes
                          by the many passes a player or monster crosses when
                          the wall (floor) drops into emptiness?!!  As far I
                          can tell, it has not affect the playability of
                          game....

THE ORIGINAL(S):  This level was based on the original DOOM (the Ultimate
                DOOM) version.  More graphics & voices are found in the
                final version of #969.WAD under JERRY.ZIP.  Believe me, it's
                weird!!!  And it is the version that started it all....
